With summer starting to wave goodbye, the focus on all autumnal and wintery activities begins to creep in. Whether it is planning the ‘back to school’, looking at Halloween costume ideas or dare we say it, considering Christmas presents, winter is definitely coming.

With every new season comes new ideas, trends and colours. The first to release their predictions and influence is usually the fashion industry. Fashion designers unveiled their A/W 2017 collections way back in March giving all industries plenty of notice.

So what’s hot for this Autumn/Winter? We have put together some smoking ideas and inspiration for you of colours and styles that are looking pretty popular for the impending seasons.

Colours

Taken inspiration from the catwalks, these are the colours that are tipped to be hot next season:

This versatile colour palette takes inspiration from nature and has some real wild card bright colours in there. All the colours are very usable and can be easily incorporated into designs and branding. The overall feel of the colour palette is that of an autumnal garden and as such, the colours have a nice natural vibe to them.

Here are some great examples of how these colours can be used in fashion and interiors:

Red vase, Heal’s  | Pink sofa, Ikea  | Camel coat, Warehouse | Blue light, Lights4Living | Headphones, Bowers & Wilkins | Watch, Olivia Burton | Tie, TM Lewin | Antelope Head, Oliver Bonas | Mat, Made.com | Cushion, Designers’ Guild

As you can see, it’s pretty easy to incorporate these colours into your home, styling and interiors. The natural colours provide the perfect base with the more vibrant colours providing good accent colours to give lift and a zing.

These colours also work well in packaging too. It isn't just gift boxes either, the colours can used for finishing touches such as tissue paper and ribbons. It can also be used in foil printing with the foils being available in many different colours. Here’s some packaging inspiration for you using the colour palette that we offer:
