Tiny Box Company
Over a year ago, whilst setting up our sister company The Tiny Difference Company Limited, which specialises in fair and ethical trade jewellery and accessories, Rachel Watkyn decided she wanted to package the products in recycled material. Sounded dead easy. Rachel was so very wrong!
After searching for months she finally found a manufacturer that makes jewellery and gift boxes from recycled material. She also found that we were not the only company that cared about the environment and that lots of other companies want similar packaging and so she thought, "to hell with that". Rachel decided to start up a packaging company with a huge difference; It only supplies recycled boxes and bags and as far as we know we are the first and only packaging company that solely supplies recycled gift/jewellery packaging... In the latter half of 2007 the Tiny Box Company was created now with a huge selection of recycled boxes and recycled bags.

"Individually we can't change the world. But together we can make a Tiny Difference". - Rachel Watkyn is the Tiny Box Company and Tiny Difference Company Founder.
My name is Rachel Watkyn and I believe that boxes and bags made of 100% recycled gunge (paper pulp!) is the way forward. No plastic nasty smelling, cough incurring toxins here.
With a refreshing approach, I’ll assist you with your image or just reproduce your logo - tell me what you want.
I have hand picked a selection of recycled gift boxes, recycled jewellery boxes and gift bags that the Tiny Box Company supplies, and we now have in-house printing facilities in order to provide you with the recycled packaging that you want. Less than a year ago I tried to find fully recycled jewellery boxes for my sister company The Tiny Difference Company (www.tinydifference.com) I wanted my customers to feel not just overjoyed with their purchases but to feel they were doing good for the environment. I also wanted my customers to know that I cared. The jewellery boxes had to fit within my budget and look exceptional. I couldn’t find any.
So the Tiny Box Company was born.
Finally, if you would like to see other products on our website, then please email me and we will do our best to source them. My email is rach@tinyboxcompany.com.
Christian Richardson;
Hello I'm Christian Richardson and there is really nothing more to add as Rachel has hogged the whole lot!
Without sounding corporate; The Tiny Box Company is the only company in this country to only offer recycled gift and presentation packaging (except for the pesky glue, but we did try!).
Rachel and I are extremely passionate about the earth but not in a freaky way and without trying to tell you your job; recycled packaging is not the reason your customer is going to buy your product but with today’s environmentally cautious consumer, it definitely helps.
Christian took a year out from broadcasting when he went to 'sort his demons' at Rehab in Spain (Amanda and Dominic sorted him out - click here to see their newest treatment centre) and came back wanting to help other people. He remortgaged his house to free up some funds and met Rachel 10 minutes later in a shop in East Grinstead by chance when he was looking for a box for his living room, you know the type that people sometimes use as coffee tables... A blanket box actually. It was 3pm on a Monday afternoon. By 9:30 that night they had become business partners. He now (with Rachel) has 3 units full of boxes... but still no blanket box for his living room... funny how things work out eh?
His background is broadcasting, under the name 'Robin Banks' Christian has worked for Kiss 100, Virgin Radio, XFM, Atlantic 252 and various other radio stations. He has appeared on Television for the BBC, Channel 4 and other satellite channels. Currently he narrates the hugely popular Mythbusters for Discovery Europe.
Christian/Robin also coaches and trains radio presenters worldwide.
Robin is an ambassador for the Teenage Cancer Trust which is a charity devoted to improving the lives of teenagers and young adults with cancer. TCT achieves its goals through a number of initiatives, all dependent on private fundraising efforts that range from high profile concerts and sponsored treks to local community events and personal charitable giving.
Now a committed TCT supporter he tries to raise funds and more awareness.

Christian/Robin is still very much involved with Rachels 'Tiny' companies.
