DESCRIPTION
OVERVIEW

Fused glass free stylised standing Owl in turquoise blue glass. (also available in hot pink, lavender, emerald green and light aquamarine coloured glass).

Using transparent glass each owl is decorated with opal coordinating glass to add the detail of the wings, eyes and beak. Each owl is unique with eye feature and eye brow or eye lashes being hand painted before being kiln fired for 14 hours.

Each owl can stand by bending the copper legs, which are fused into the glass, to a right angle from its base. I'm based in the Peak District, Derbyshire, England and I'm fortunate to work as a full time glass artist from my home based studio. I take inspiration from the landscape where i'm often visited in the garden by local wildlife.

Each owl is unique so variations from the images should be expected.
