Website Administrator

In 2016 Tiny Box Company bought a factory in Cornwall. The factory, Tiny Box Maker Limited, specialises in making high-end presentation boxes and bespoke gift boxes. Tiny Box Maker is one of only ten rigid box making factories left in the UK.

We are currently looking for a Website Administrator to assist within the marketing team on a 6 month fixed term basis with potential to extend.

Duties will include:

  • Writing optimised content for products alongside Marketing assistant
  • Uploading products and product imagery
  • Updating CMS blocks, carousels and widgets when required
  • Uploading blog content provided by Marketing Executive and format accordingly.
  • Ensuring Magento and Brightpearl weights and prices are married up.
  • Keeping the Tiny Bulletin board up to date (CMS Page)
  • Writing optimised content for category pages alongside Marketing Assistant
  • Creating new landing pages for website-based campaigns
  • Updating the inspire section and keeping up to date when new content arises.
  • Updating new staff members on the meet the team page.
  • Making any on-page edits as requested by staff.
  • Optimising website pages, typos, grammar and looking for new opportunities to improve SEO.
  • Managing modules such as Marketplace and liaising with internal teams.

About you:

  • A-level English or equivalent
  • An excellent attention to detail
  • Precise, consistent, and task-oriented
  • SEO knowledge
  • Magento experience is desirable but not essential.

Location

Cleaner – Part Time, 25h a week, Fixed Term

We at Tiny Box Company specialise in recycled and eco-friendly gift packaging and we offer a huge range of affordable and stylish gift packaging and accessories. We believe that luxury and beauty need not be compromised when making ethical packaging choices.

We are currently looking for a part time experienced commercial Cleaner to clean across two sites, located opposite each other, covering five hours a day Monday to Friday.  Start and finish times can be flexible and negotiable.

Duties will include thorough cleaning of kitchen areas, toilets and bathrooms, offices, meeting rooms and corridors as well as floors and windows in the buildings, including all touch points.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual, with a ‘can do’ attitude who takes pride in their work and can work on their own initiative. A high standard of cleanliness is required. 

All cleaning materials will be provided.

The successful candidate will have previous cleaning experience, preferably from a commercial environment; possess good physical dexterity; have the ability to work independently as well as the ability to manage their time according to the required schedule of work.

Located in the beautiful countryside next to the Bluebell Railway and close to Sheffield Park Gardens, your own means of transport is essential.

Hourly rate will be £9.50 per hour.

Trainee Hot Foil Printer

What is Hot Foil Printing?

Hot foil printing is a process using coloured foil instead of ink, and can be applied to numerous flat surfaces including card, paper, leather and plastic.

  • The hot foil die (printing plate) is attached to the machine and heated up.
  • Foil is placed between the die (printing plate) and the substrate to be printed.
  • Pressure is then applied by (the printer) pulling the handle of the machine to bring the two briefly together to adhere the foil to the substrate.

The foil has an adhesive on the back which is activated by the heat and forms a permanent bond to the substrate.

We are currently looking for a Trainee Hot Foil Printer.

Duties will include:

  • Collecting stock from the warehouse for printing
  • De-lidding boxes
  • Packing printed boxes into outers
  • Taking printed stock out to the warehouse for despatch
  • Working with the print team to maximise daily print output
  • Assisting the operation of the print room where required
  • Hot foil printing (by hand) onto our stock of boxes and bags. Ultimately combining speed and accuracy.

 About you

You will need to be enthusiastic and able to work as part of a team.

It’s essential that you’re keen to learn to print and have an interest in the product

Skills / Qualifications required

On the job training will be provided. This job involves manual handling, and so the successful candidate will need to be able to demonstrate dexterity.

Warehouse Shift Operative

We are currently looking for a Warehouse Shift Operative to support the team on a fixed term contract with potential to permanent.

You will be working a 3 day on, 3 day off shift pattern. There will be two separate teams covering 7 days a week, including most bank holidays.  Currently, the business will continue to remain closed on Easter Monday, Christmas, Boxing and New Years’ Day. 

Each daily shift will be 7:00am-7:00pm. Your working week will be an average of 40.25 hours per week.

Duties will include:

  • Picking, checking and packing all online and office orders.
  • Restocking shelves when stock is low.
  • Counting damaged boxes and reporting to Warehouse Supervisor.
  • Keeping packing area tidy for a safe working environment.
  • Tidying warehouse on a weekly basis.
  • Carrying out weekly stock counts.
  • Any other reasonable request as directed by the senior team.
