Produced through a sustainable, closed-loop process (the Lyocell process; Tencel™ is a brand name), these fibres are biodegradable (soil, water and marine) and compostable (home and industrial). Lenzing recovers and reuses more than 99% of the organic solvent, resulting in a 100% bio based yarn - and they recycle and reuse process water for an almost closed-loop system.
