Made with natural eucalyptus and spruce fibres, as well as recycled clothing, this ribbon is completely biodegradable and can even be recycled back into Tencel fabric. Plus, the special Dope Dying process used to colour the ribbon results in beautiful, vibrant hues that will add a touch of elegance to any gift or packaging project.

Tencel uses eucalyptus and spruce fibres, combined with other fabric sources to create fully biodegradable products which can either be composted or turned into new fabrics!

Tencel is committed to the sustainable harvest of their natural fibres. They review each plantation regularly and make sure that they are following all guidelines, such as adding wildlife corridors where necessary for protection against disruption in local ecosystems

Tencel ribbon can be machine washed using a gentle setting and left on a washing line to dry out. Although Tencel is wrinkle resistant, it is possible for this ribbon to be ironed, being careful to use plenty of steam

Tencel's special Dope dying process adds colour to ribbon at the point of production rather than after fabrics have been produced. Pigments are mixed into the pulp mixture and form strong bonds with fibres themselves, leaving deeply embedded rich tones that will never wash out or fade over time.
