Tencel has a low environmental impact due to how and what it has been harvested from. Tencel is made from 100% biobased fibres which have been created using the wood pulp from Eucalyptus trees and the wood pulp from Spruce trees. The wood from these trees have been harvested responsibly and manufactured to create the coloured ribbon. The sustainable production process and harvesting have been completed responsibly and is FSC certified and PEFC certified. The tencel yarn also holds compostable capabilities allowing you to compost at an industrial compostable centre once you are finished with its use and don't have any other purpose for re use.
