Looking for a sustainable and environmentally friendly alternative to satin ribbon? The search is over! Made with natural eucalyptus and spruce fibres, as well as recycled clothing, this ribbon is completely biodegradable and can even be recycled back into Tencel fabric. Plus, the special Dope Dying process used to colour the ribbon results in beautiful, vibrant hues that will add a touch of elegance to any gift or packaging project.

We stock a range of colours and two different widths, both available in 20m lengths in single rolls to help you maintain stock levels, be it at home, your own warehouse or in a brick and mortar store.

The fabrics are made using mulched eucalyptus and spruce fibres, combined with recycled clothing to make fully biodegradable products that can either be recycled into new fabrics or composted in your own garden to help aid new growth.

Tencel reviews each individual plantation on a regular basis to make sure they adhere to their strict guidelines. By using responsible farming techniques and adding things like wildlife corridors, they minimise the impact on the local ecosystems.

Tencel ribbon is able to be machine washed on a gentle, wool setting before being dried on a line (no dryers please!). The ribbon is resistant to wrinkles but the ribbon is able to be ironed carefully using plenty of steam.

Tencel's special Dope dying process adds colour at the point of production rather than after the fabrics have been made. Pigments are mixed into the pulp mixture and forms a strong bond with the fibres, leaving a deeply embedded and rich colour.
