Green Tencel Ribbon 20 metres x 15mm

Are you looking for an eco-friendly ribbon that is made from sustainable wood sources? Look no further than our new ribbon made from the organic material tencel. Tencel is one of the most sustainable fibres made from wood pulp from Eucalyptus and Spruce trees. The tencel material's low environmental impact makes it the perfect choice if you're shopping for ribbon that has a sustainable production process.

Available in 4 colours, choose from red, green, black or cream in 2 different sizes 15mm x 20 metres or 25mm x 20 metres.

Ribbon can transform the look of your products and can add the final finishing touch to your gift packaging. Simply tie a bow around the outside of your box, or wrap the ribbon around your gifts inside your packaging for your customers or recipient to untie. Shop our tencel range and create beautiful gift packaging with sustainability in mind.

Tencel fibres are created with nature in mind, produced from certified and controlled sources. Tencel has a very high resource efficiency due to its closed loop production cycle. Wood is harvested from their own plantations. They then process water, organic wood pulp, recycled clothing and a non-toxic solvent before pressing the mixture into threads and being manufactured into fabrics. Being able to re use clothing scraps means that their closed-loop system reduces the demand for fresh materials to be harvested, meaning less pressure on the environment. Any solvent that isn't used in production is captured and reused. Unlike other industrial dying processes, colours are added using a special Dope dying process wherein pigments are added to the the fibre pulp before being made into fabric, ensuring a long lasting rich colour.

As part of becoming a certified Tencel wood supplier, plantations are subject to thorough and strict guidelines to ensure low ecological impact to natural forests around the world. Located across the globe, plantations use wildlife corridors and low impact growing techniques to ensure local ecosystems are maintained and soil quality remains high, being able to fully revert to its natural state. Tencel fibre can be used as compost, so that nature can reclaim your clothing and support new growth.

Unfortunately we are unable to print your logo on these tencel ribbons, to see a range of other ribbons that we stock which you may have printed, please see our ribbon category or get in contact with our customer service team to explore your options.

By buying products through Tiny Box Company you're helping to support a shift in mindsets, away from unsustainable practises and unethical behaviours, meaning that the planet doesn't pay the price.
