Red Tencel Ribbon 20 metres x 15mm
Take your pick from our vibrant selection of Tencel Ribbon, perfect for adding a splash of colour to your packaging or any craft project. Each ribbon measuring 15mm x 20m.
Tencel ribbon is a 100% biobased fibre made from sustainably sourced Eucalyptus and Spruce trees, meaning it's gentle on the environment as well as being soft and strong. Use it for wrapping presents, tying bows, or even crafts and sewing projects - the possibilities are endless! Choose from red, green, black and cream colours for a range of applications.
Tencel ribbon is a delicate fabric made from organic and renewable resources. It has the look and feel of traditional satin ribbon whilst also being 100% biodegradable and eco-friendly. The eucalyptus and spruce trees used to create this ribbon provide a soft, natural sheen. The ribbon is sturdy enough for gift wrapping, yet also delicate enough to be used as a hair accessory or trimming on clothing, perfect for decorative accents for the packaging of your company.
Our Tencel ribbon is a perfect example of classic design with a modern, in this case more sustainable, twist. Tencel holds certification from both the United States Department of Agriculture and European Union Environmental Commission and has a revolutionary closed-loop fabric recycling process where old items of clothing are scrapped and mulched down, before being blended with wood pulp. The mixture is then combined and woven into fabric, before being made into garments and other items. There are many benefits to keeping this system closed, as it increases the entropy of a garment. Instead of being used once and thrown away to sit in landfills, the fabric can be re-used or even just left to biodegrade leaving no lasting impact where it will eventually be re-used as new growth material where the cycle can begin again. Tencel fabrics are dyed using a special dope-dying process, wherein colour pigments are added at the point of fabric production rather than after the fabric has been created, leaving a long lasting rich colour meaning there's no trading quality for ethics. Tencel reviews all suppliers before entering business with them, ensuring they're held to a high standard of ethics.
By buying ribbon in packs of 5 you can ensure that you maintain stock of your packaging supplies whilst reducing the carbon footprint of your purchase, it also helps to save some delivery costs!
Don't forget that business customers can enter their VAT number at checkout to save some time and make life easy for yourself come April.
